WHO WE ARE

The passion for sport. The dream of creating clothes and costumes. The story of a family and a brand, which has always represented high fashion in sports.

In the SAGESTER atelier unique creations come to life, precious objects, able to make athletes shine on the track. SAGESTER products are top quality garments, rich in details that highlight the movements and enhance the athlete’s performance and passion.

  • 1980

    THE BIRTH

    SAGESTER is born from the dream of two little girls, who love artistic gymnastics and watch their mum Ester create dresses and competition outfits for them. Imagination, creativity and determination lead Ester, together with her husband Donato, to create SAGESTER, the first Italian brand which represents high fashion in sports.

  • 1990

    THE BRAND

    The SAGESTER brand, characterized by its Italian style, starts to be requested overseas by many stores. So the internationalisation process begins, with authorized dealers all over Europe.

  • 1994

    START OF ACTIVITY

    After completing their studies, Elena and Roberta Dalle Nogare start cooperating as designers, supporting mum Ester and dad Donato. A new “vision” to face the new emerging international markets.

  • 1996

    THE FIRST CATALOGUE

    The first catalogue with the exclusive SAGESTER competition and training lines is born. Many skating champions choose SAGESTER for their exhibitions.

  • 2001

    SPORTING SUCCESSES

    Athletes who are wearing SAGESTER keep on achieving successes. In figure ice skating, Barbara Fusar Poli and Maurizio Margaglio wear SAGESTER at the World Championships in Vancouver.

  • 2006

    WINTER OLYMPICS TURIN

    SAGESTER is chosen by the IOC (International Olympic Committee) as its technical partner for the Turin Winter Olympics.

  • 2007

    THE FIRST WEBSITE

    SAGESTER renews its logo and is online with its first website. The diffusion of the brand, by now known all over the world, continues.

  • 2013

    HIGH FASHION IN SPORT

    SAGESTER renews itself and becomes “High Fashion in Sport”, introducing new prodcution methods and innovative fabrics.

  • 2014

    COUTURE IS BORN

    Haute Couture by SAGESTER is born: a unique and limited edition of garments.

  • 2015

    INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP

    Distribution partnerships in Russia, the United States and China.

  • 2016

    RUSSIAN SKATING FEDERATION

    SAGESTER is selected as Technical Partner by the Russian Figure Skating Federation.

  • 2017

    THE JEWELERY LINE IS BORN

    A new line of jewellery dedicated to the world of figure skating, and Merino Wool Ice collections are created.

  • 2018

    WORLD SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS

    SAGESTER is chosen by the World Figure Skating Championships in Milan for tailoring assistance and dedicates a limited edition fashion line to this occasion.

  • 2019

    WORLD ROLLER GAMES BARCELLONA

    SAGESTER takes part at the World Roller Games in Barcelona, the world championships of sports on wheels and dresses some of the Italian teams which compete during this event.
